What to Expect

Whether you’re a lifelong church-goer or a first-timer, you will find a warm welcome at Community Congregational Church. Our hope is that you will take the next step into this community. The information below will help you when you visit us.

Our church is at the corner of Highland and Cornell Avenues. You should find ample parking in the Highland Avenue parking lot and along the street. Use the Highland Avenue entrance for worship. For programs and activities use the Cornell Avenue entrance. You will find the church office at the top of the steps.

Children of all ages are always welcome in worship. We also have child care and Learning Community options for infants, children and youth. Ask for directions to the Infant/Toddler Room or the Learning Community classrooms, where you can check your children into this safe and fun area.

Ushers will greet you at the sanctuary door, give you a worship bulletin and direct you to a seat (if you would like.) Our one-hour services typically begin with a time of singing, followed by prayers, scripture reading, the sermon and the offering.

We normally celebrate communion together on the first Sunday of the month. All are welcome to participate in the sharing of the cup and bread.
